Jewelry Care
Having quality jewelry that can be passed on and cherished as a family heirloom for generations to come requires basic jewelry care and preservation practices.
Best Practices
•Removing rings and jewelry before physical activity
•Inspect your jewelry regularly for loose stones, bent and worn out prongs.
•Clean frequently (Check out our cleaning kit )
•Get your jewelry inspected by a professional 2x a year
•White Gold should be Rhodium plated 1x a year.
•Store in a fabric lined box or in individually wrapped tissue.
•Clean & wipe off with a polishing cloth.
Bad Behavior
•Sleeping with your ring on, this can wear out prongs up to 5x faster then normal wear
•Avoid exercising or strenuous physically activity.
•Harsh chemicals may react to gold. Removing your rings is best, even if you wear gloves.
•Wearing your jewelry if stones are loose, or have bent prongs.
•Wear your Jewelry in a chorine pool or submerse in water for extended period of time.
•Do not wipe off with tissue or paper towels.
